From Then to Now
I grew up with a deep appreciation for good food, inherited from my mum and nurtured from a young age in the kitchen. That early love took me around the world – from a Michelin-star restaurant, to high-end yachts in the Mediterranean, to an exclusive hotel on Australia’s Great Ocean Road. After twelve years in the corporate world, I knew it was time to return to what I love most: creating honest, local food and bringing together exceptional products from the finest suppliers.
Saxton’s Deli has been part of Church Stretton for over 20 years, and in 2021 I was proud to take the helm. With our dedicated chefs and friendly deli team, we work hard every day to offer the warmest welcome and the highest quality produce.
Church Stretton – known as “Little Switzerland” for its beautiful landscape – is a peaceful, vibrant town with an extraordinary community. We’re lucky to have loyal local customers and visitors from all over the world who come to enjoy our food.
