Our Story
I inherited my mums appreciation and love for good food. Encouraged to cook from a young age, I continued to explore food in my life. I have worked in a Michelin star restaurant, on high end yachts in the Mediterranean and in an exclusive hotel in Australia on the Great Ocean road.
After working in the corporate world for 12 years, it was time to fulfil my dream and pursue a passion for creating food that is good, local and honest, combined with fine products from the best suppliers. All in an environment that makes everyone feel welcome and amazed by the quality of the produce.
The deli has been located in Church Stretton, Shropshire for over 20 years, in 2021 I took over the helm. With my dedicated chefs and friendly deli team we do our utmost to give the best service possible.
Church Stretton is a peaceful, tranquil town with an incredible community. Locally known as ‘Little Switzerland’, as nicknamed by the Victorians due to the nature of it’s landscape, it continues to be a beautiful market town steeped in history. It is a wonderful place to be based!
We have wonderful regular local customers and welcome visitors to the town, who come from all over the world to buy our food.
